Audio Product Quality Assurance

Audio quality is not one final inspection. It is a sequence of agreed specifications, samples, checkpoints and records that begins before production.

Project quality framework

1. Requirement definition

Record the model, chipset or key platform, acoustic expectations, battery targets, functions, appearance, accessories, packaging and target market.

2. Approved reference sample

Use an agreed sample and written specification as the reference for appearance, function, sound and package configuration.

3. Pre-production confirmation

Reconfirm materials, branding files, color references, labels, manuals, packaging and model-specific compliance requirements.

4. Production checkpoints

Define the relevant incoming, in-process and final checks for the product, including functional and visual criteria.

5. Inspection and records

Agree the inspection scope, sampling method and evidence required before shipment for the specific order.

6. Change control

Document approved changes to the product, package or specification so the commercial and production records stay aligned.

Compliance and certification

Compliance is market- and model-specific. Catalog references to CE, FCC, RoHS or other documentation must be checked against the exact model, report holder, target market and current document before an order or listing relies on them. Request the applicable files during project review.

Use our audio certification and compliance-document checklist to understand what should be matched to the selected model and destination market.

Before placing an order

Define the quality requirements early

Include your destination market and required documents in the initial inquiry so they can be reviewed with the product selection.
