Audio Product Certifications & Compliance Documentation

Bluetooth audio compliance is not one universal certificate. The documents a buyer should review depend on the exact product model, radio configuration, battery, destination market and intended product claims.

Important: Catalog references such as CE, FCC or RoHS indicate documents listed for certain products. Availability, report ownership, model coverage and current suitability must be confirmed for the selected model before an order, import or marketplace listing relies on them.

Common audio product documents

CE / EU conformity

Applicable EU conformity evidence may include declarations and supporting reports. Confirm the exact model, applicable legislation and the party placing the product on the market.

FCC / US radio compliance

Bluetooth products intended for the United States may require model-specific radio evidence. Match the model or module identification and report details before use.

RoHS material restrictions

RoHS documentation concerns restricted substances. Confirm the product scope, test basis, report date and whether the supplied configuration is covered.

Battery and transport files

Where applicable, buyers may need UN38.3 test summaries, SDS/MSDS or other lithium-battery transport information. Requirements vary by battery and shipping route.

Test reports and declarations

Request the available model-specific declaration, report or certificate and check the report holder, laboratory, issue date, standards and covered model names.

Labels, manuals and packaging

Product markings, importer details, warnings, user instructions and package claims should be reviewed for the destination market before artwork is approved.

Document availability status

Document type Public website status Project action
CE / FCC / RoHS references Listed for applicable catalog models; not represented as universal coverage Request the exact model file and verify report holder, model and current relevance
UN38.3 / SDS or MSDS Not claimed for every model Confirm battery and shipping-route requirements, then request available files
Test reports / declarations Model-specific and may require controlled disclosure Request during project review; NDA or other controls may apply
Labels / manuals / packaging Developed for the approved commercial configuration Review destination-market content before artwork approval

Seven checks before relying on a file

  1. Exact model: Does the product or module name match the item being purchased?
  2. Report holder: Is the named company relevant to the supply chain and authorization route?
  3. Market: Does the document address the destination country and sales channel?
  4. Standard and version: Are the cited standards appropriate and current for the product?
  5. Laboratory and report reference: Can the issuing body and report identity be checked?
  6. Date and status: Is the file current, complete and applicable to the final configuration?
  7. Final artwork: Do model names, labels, manuals, packaging and product claims stay consistent?

What to include in your request

Send the selected product link or model, destination market, quantity, required sales channel and any retailer or importer checklist. MAXENTROP can then request and review the files available for that model. Document availability must be confirmed per product and project; this page is a buyer checklist, not a claim that every listed file is held for every model.

Request model-specific documentation

Tell us the model and where it will be sold. We will include applicable document verification in the project review.
